Do you know the spiritual significance of Diwali? Why Do We Celebrate Diwali?

Diwali, popularly known as the festival of lights, lasts five days, beginning with Dhanteras and ending with Narak Chaturdashi, Lakshmi puja, and Bhai Dooj. Diwali is celebrated for a variety of reasons throughout India.
-In northern India, Diwali commemorates Lord Rama's return from exile with Laxmana and Sita after conquering the wicked king Ravana.
-In southern India, Diwali is celebrated as the day Lord Krishna killed the demon Narakasura, thus Narak Chaturdashi.
-It is celebrated in western India as the day Lord Vishnu saved the goddess Lakshmi from the wicked king Bali and sent him to rule the netherworld.
- In Shikhs, this festival marks great importance when Guru Hargovind Singh got freedom from Mughal Prison along with the other Hindu Kings.
- According to the Mahabharata, on this auspicious day of Diwali, the Pandavas were returned to Hastinapur.
-Other common beliefs include that the goddess Lakshmi was born on Diwali, picked Lord Vishnu as her spouse, and married him.
-Kali puja is observed in eastern India on Diwali when Goddess Kali is worshipped.

The spiritual significance of Diwali has been brought to you by Vivanta Infinity projects, the top real estate developer in Amravati. Diwali is celebrated in India during Kartik month, which comes between the months of October and November. Aside from the pujas, lights, and firecrackers, Diwali represents new beginnings, and each of the four days bears unique significance in the hearts of the people.

It is a festival of presenting gifts to all of our loved ones and forgiving all of our mistakes from the previous year. There is a lot of love, pleasure, and laughter in the air during this festival.

Getting up in the morning on Diwali has great significance. Waking up early is considered to bring good health, discipline, work ethics, and, most significantly, spiritual replenishment.

It is a celebration of togetherness. During Diwali, children and other members of the family return home to rejoice with their loved ones.

According to legend, it marks the day when good triumphed over evil. As a result, Diwali represents our hearts' journey from darkness to light.

2. Importance of Laxmi Pooja-

Laxmi Pooja is one of the most important rituals in Diwali which is practised in almost every family across the country. People believe that on this auspicious day, the goddess Lakshmi descends on Earth to bestow money, luck, and prosperity on everyone. People do Lakshmi puja Vidhi at home and fast in order to perform the puja.
